2025 Outdoor Equipment Set-up Day & Gear Swap

Hey Everyone,
The sun is shining, the snow is melting and soccer is coming!!!! FYSA is organizing an equipment set up day.
We are opening the equipment shed, dusting things off and pulling out the nets so they are ready for the first day of the outdoor soccer season and we need your help!!! We will be inflating balls, putting equipment bags together, installing the mesh on the goal frames, and anything else soccer related. Below is a link to sign up and lend a hand and meet others who are in our soccer community. Please feel fre to share the link and invite others to come down and lend a hand.
The annual FYSA gear swap will also be happening, so bring down outgrown soccer equipment and trade up or down with other gear from the community, donations happily accepted. We also have the FYSA Gear Swap Facebook page to look for used gear. Please follow our FB (Fernie Youth Soccer) and IG @FernieYouthSoccer pages for announcements for season start and rain/smoke advisories during the season.
We will have a station set up to pick up socks and shorts if you ordered them when you were registering your player(s) so that you have them in advance of the first day. If you aren't able to pick them up on Sunday, April 27th, they will be given to your coach on the first day of the season for your age division.
Lastly, the first day of the season has not been confirmed, but anticipate it for the first week of May. The City of Fernie will notify us when the fields will be open, so please keep your eyes open for an announcement of when the first day of soccer will be.
